Magazine Censorship in Iran

came across this interesting point while surfing through some of my favorite sites:

“News stories that show women with bare arms, knees, or cleavage generally just get a blocky white sticker, while fashion ads (like the ones below) get ink jobs that keep the clothes unobscured. Some ink gets more artfully applied than others.”

iran is a very conservative country and it’s definitely important for an advertiser to know these facts. but hmm, don’t you think the advertiser should put in more effort to put the ink on the ad? the ones below look like something you can doodle with paintbrush in a min…
